Over the course of 25 years, I have built up a broad portfolio. This includes leading roles in the fine dining hospitality industry as well as in-depth experience in retail and sales as well as management positions in fine wine purchasing. One of my great passions has always been to share knowledge, hence I have many years of experience as a trainer and instructor, hosting moderations, presentations and masterclasses alike. Additional. I am an active juror for the renowned Decanter magazine and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Beeing very enthusiastic about writing, I am contributing editorial articles and content as part of my work as well as on a freelance basis. I am happy to support you as a consultant in opening up new markets for wineries and associations worldwide and also advise you on purchasing issues.

Helga Schroeder - first female Master Sommelière from Germany. Since the first test for the Master Sommelier was held back in 1969, there have been merely a few candidates who passed this exam at the Court of Master Sommeliers. An exam that is considered to be the toughest and most demanding of such in the drinks business, with a pass rate of just around 4%. There are currently (2025) only 282 members worldwide who bear the coveted title „Master Sommelier“.
